More about Flower Jewellery

For the team here at Fig and Rose, our first love is of the garden. What could be more beautiful than the beautiful blooms that spring up from the ground as proof of our hard work and dedication? The garden can be such a soothing place of calm, but it's at home. However, with flower jewellery you can take a little bit of the garden with you everywhere.

There are a few different types of floral jewellery that we sell here at Fig and Rose, including real flower jewellery. This collection takes petals from actual flowers and encases them in resin and mounts them on sterling silver backings and chains. They're absolutely stunning!

There are also versions of the flower jewellery that are made from metal then painted to resemble the real life thing. These are bold and bright and capture the colour of the garden for you to wear with your everyday outfits.

The different flowers in the floral jewellery can have different meanings. Red roses are traditionally associated with romance, while white flowers like lily of the valley are often for funerals and as sympathy gifts.

There are also birth flowers, meaning flowers that are associated with the month in which you were born. These make thoughtful gift ideas when choosing the flower jewelry as a gift. The birth flowers are as following:

  • January: Carnation and Snowdrop.
  • February: Violet and Iris.
  • March: Daffodil and None.
  • April: Daisy and Sweet Pea.
  • May: Lily of the Valley and Hawthorn.
  • June: Rose and Honeysuckle.
  • July: Larkspur and Water Lily.
  • August: Gladiolus and Poppy.
  • September: Aster and Morning Glory.
  • October: Marigold and Cosmos.
  • November: Chrysanthemum and Peony.
  • December: Narcissus and Holly.

It can be difficult to choose gifts for a gardener sometimes as gardeners are very particular about their tools and equipment, so instead some flower jewellery can pay homage to the gardener's love of the blooms they work so hard to grow.

Flower jewellery is one of our recommended ideas for Mother's day gardener gift or a Valentine's gifts for gardeners too, not only celebrating her love for the garden, but your love for her.

All of the floral jewellery is eligible for flat rate domestic UK shipping of just £4.50, which is the perfect opportunity to combine your cart with a greeting card and send the jewellery as a gift, or combine with some of our garden ornaments to create a gorgeous gardenscape.
